Fun with robots Aaron Lindstrom of the University of Illinois Extension and 4-H presented his first of three robotics programs for Putnam County libraries at the Hennepin branch on July 27. Lindstrom’s program included robots, a 3-D printer and some of the activities members of the 4-H Robotics and Stem Clubs regularly enjoy. His next appearance will be at the McNabb Library at 3 p.m. on Aug. 2. His third program is scheduled for the ball field in Magnolia at 11 a.m. on Aug. 19. (PCR photo/Dave Cook)

news@putnamcountyrecord.com GRANVILLE — Despite announcements made to officials and the press that a group of residents would be present to petition for Timberline Drive to be maintained by the township, the public’s seats remained empty at the July 25 Granville Township Board meeting.
The road, its poor condition, and the fact no government entity wants to accept responsibility for its maintenance have been topics of discussion at multiple board meetings in Putnam County throughout the years. The Putnam County Board at its July 10 meeting advised residents of Timberline
