GRANVILLE — The weather is changing, and despite efforts to locate the multiple causes of the flooding experienced during the last period of heavy rain, residents have been warned to prepare for the next bout of wet weather. “We’re getting more water in a faster time, and homeowners should prepare by protecting their property,” said village
engineer Mike Richetta of Chamlin & Associates during the Granville Village Board meeting on June 6. Richetta has been evaluating the flooding this spring, citing problems with both surface water run-off and storm drains.
