PAINTING AT THE PCCC

Freda Portwood of Standard was one of the many who picked up a brush and channeled their artistic creativity onto a canvas during the PCCC’s free painting class March 30. Led by instructor Peggy Bluemer, the novice artists were guided through the steps of painting a bright and colorful sun or a portrait of the Easter bunny. Portwood, an experienced painter, broke from the group, finding her inspiration in a decoration which was on the shelf of the center’s thrift store. (PCR photo/Dave Cook)
