Kim McKee selected by board to be next president, CEO of North Central Bank HENNEPIN

Rick Jameson, current president, will retire Dec. 31

HENNEPIN — The Board of Directors of North Central Bank, with offices in Hennepin and Ladd, announced the selection of Kim McKee, currently the bank’s vice president and chief operation offi- cer, to serve as the next president and CEO.

McKee will replace Rick James- on, who has served as president a n d C E O s i n c e April 2017 and has a n n o u n c e d h i s retirement effective on Dec. 31, 2020.

McKee has been with the bank since 1998, starting in the loan department and advancing to branch manager, vice president and chief operations officer.

She also serves on the bank’s executive management team, the Asset-Liability Committee and the Loan Committee.

McKee has been active in the banking industry, having served Kim McKee

on several committees with the Community Bankers Associa- tion of Illinois (CBAI), including acting as chairman of the CBAI Foundation for Community Bank- ing.

She has been an active partici- pant and advocate for communi- ty banking, joining in lobbying efforts with CBAI in Springfield and with the Independent Commu- nity Bankers of America (ICBA) in Washington, D.C.

McKee is a lifelong resident of Peru and currently lives there with her husband and two children.

McKee will assume her new role on Jan. 1, 2021.

Extension will offer program on conifers Feb. 25 U OF I EXTENSION

PRINCETON — The winter series of the University of Illinois Exten- sion’s Four Seasons Gardening Program concludes with a session titled “Colorful Conifers.”

Martha Smith, horticulture edu- cation, will show participants how to rethink their landscape to bring out the best foliage display.

This program will be offered via a live webinar at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the following Univer- sity of Illinois Extension Offices: Bureau County in Princeton, Mar- shall-Putnam Counties in Henry, and LaSalle County in Ottawa.

This webinar may also be viewed from wherever someone has internet access by preregistering at go.illinois.edu/fourseasons. Recorded videos of these sessions can be viewed following the program at go.illinois.edu/ fourseasonsrecordings.

This is the final session for the winter series.
