The most prestigious Grand Slam tournament has arrived as the world’s top-ranked tennis players get set for the highly anticipated 2025 Wimbledon Championships. Contested from Monday, June 30, to Sunday, July 13, at the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. All rounds will be broadcast live on ESPN.
As the 2025 tennis season unfolds, all eyes turn to the historic grass courts of Wimbledon. This year’s tournament is a particularly noteworthy one, with both the men’s and women’s side boasting a dynamic mix of seasoned champions and rising stars, making for a highly anticipated tournament.
A major competitor this season looking to claim his second Grand Slam title of the year is none other than 23-year-old Italian Jannik Sinner, who has been a world class competitor all season. Despite his recent gut-wrenching loss during the French Open final to defending Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz, Sinner remains a serious force to be reckoned with.
The world No. 1-ranked tennis player has remained in top form from the jump, holding a
90% win rate while sitting top five in first-serve points won (78.7%) and leads all players in second-serve points won (56.7%). His exceptionally strong baseline play and improved serve make him a formidable threat on grass courts.
Some other notable names on the men’s side include Jack Draper, who has recently moved up the ATP rankings to No. 4 following a victory at Indian Wells and a semifinals appearance at the 2024 U.S. Open.

Deep beneath the fabled Pillars of Halvar lies Viking treasure waiting to be plucked from the abyss. The only thing stopping one enterprising prisoner from liberating it is a vessel that can reach it. Inspired by the enduring science fiction novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea” by author Jules Verne, “Nautilus,” premiering Sunday, June 29, on AMC and AMC+, tells the story of how Nemo took the helm of the infamous submarine.
Portrayed by “Star Trek: Discovery” star Shazad Latif, audiences meet Capt. Nemo in “Nautilus” as a prisoner of the East India Mercantile Company. An Indian prince stripped of his status and ripped from his family, Nemo is forced to work for the company, designing the engines of a secret submersible, the Nautilus.
In an act of revenge against the people who took everything from him, Nemo plots to steal the ship and set off on an adventure to retrieve buried riches. With a hastily-assembled crew on board, Nemo leaves the penal colony in the periscope’s rear-view, but the East India Mercantile Company are not willing to let the Nautilus go without a fight.
Also starring in the 10-part adventure series are Georgia Flood (“Apples Never Fall”) as hostage-turned-crew member Humility Lucas; Céline Menville (“Emily in Paris”) as Loti; Thierry Frémont (“Das Boot”) as Benoit; Richard E. Grant (“The Franchise”) as White Rajah; Anna Torv (“The Newsreader”) as Revna; and Noah Taylor (“So Long, Marianne”) as Capt. Mogg.
It’s nearly impossible to quietly execute a prisoner uprising, and Nemo’s big de-
parture only gives him and his crew a bit of a head start.
“She is mine, I want her back,” Director Crawley (Damien Garvey, “The Artful Dodger”) says of the pilfered vessel in the trailer. He is talking to the right guy, Youngblood (Jacob Collins-Levy, “Young Wallander”), who tells Crawley: “If you’re looking for someone to bring Nemo back in chains, I’m your man.”
Along the way, Nemo and the crew of the Nautilus encounter formidable deep sea creatures and explore the incredible unknown landscape of the ocean floor on the way to their destination of the North East Passage. Chased at sea and on land by those who want either the same fortune they are after or the treasure of the Nautilus, Nemo and the crew must work together to maintain their freedom.
“Nautilus” was created and written by James Dormer (“Devils”) and series directors include Michael Matthews (“Love and Monsters,” 2020), Ben C. Lucas (“The Wilds”) and Isabelle Sieb (“Shetland”).
Latif, who will be seen next as Edgar Linton in the buzzy Emerald Fennell (“Promising Young Woman,” 2020) -directed adaptation of the timeless Emily Bronte-penned novel “Wuthering Heights” early next year, spoke to Yahoo UK about portraying a new angle of another well-known character.
“It’s very rare you get the origin story of a character who’s usually in the old film — the James Mason [“A Star is Born,” 1954] film and all the iterations of it — he’s a mysterious character,” the “Toast of London” actor explained.
“In the book as well, you don’t really know his past, he’s very vague and that’s sort of the thing, but in this we get to explore this very flawed, very complex character who’s on a ship with 10 other brown men, we rarely get shows like that,” Latif continued.
Exploring new depths, “Nautilus” premieres Sunday, June 29, on AMC and AMC+.

OF S.W.A.T. ON CBS/PARAMOUNT+
Q: I thought that “S.W.A.T.” had ended, but then I heard that Shemar Moore is bringing it back again. Is that true?
A: Yes, with some qualifications. The franchise will continue with a spinoff series, and with — as of this writing — Shemar Moore as the only confirmed cast returnee, though it’s been inferred that others will turn up again as well.
“S.W.A.T. Exiles” will see Moore’s character, Los Angeles police sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, lead a new squad of young officers.
Sony Pictures Television announced the creation of the spinoff soon after “S.W.A.T.” recently ended its run. No network or streaming platform has been announced yet for the planned 10-episode series — which, of course, could continue for additional seasons if the response proves strong enough. The plan is to market “S.W.A.T. Exiles” internationally as well, which would help justify the concept and the budget.
“S.W.A.T. Exiles” marks the third iteration of the enduring TV franchise, which originated with a 1975–76 ABC series starring Steve Forrest as Hondo. That version featured a young team under his command, including Robert Urich (“Vega$,” “Spenser: For Hire”) and Mark Shera (“Barnaby Jones”). Decades later, CBS and Paramount+ launched a reboot in 2017 starring Moore, which ran for eight seasons (2017–2025) despite two cancellations that ended up being reversed — thanks to viewer demand.
Sony is suggesting that if “S.W.A.T. Exiles” takes off successfully, other “S.W.A.T.” series could follow. If that seems like putting the cart before the horse, bear in mind how the audience has effectively saved “S.W.A.T.” several times now, so continued popularity for “Exiles” could make such a progression wholly logical and appropriate. Time will tell.

Cowboy casanovas: The McBees face relationship woes in ‘Real
The McBee boys have saddled up and are ready to take the reins in Season 2 of “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys,” premiering Monday, June 30, on Bravo.
Saddling up a story that sits where “Yellowstone” meets reality TV, this rancher-loving series centers on Missouri’s McBee Farm and Cattle, home to Steve McBee and his sons — Steven Jr., Cole and Jesse. “Real American Cowboys” offers viewers a glimpse past the glitz and glamour of what’s shown in fictionalized television shows, sharing the real, high-stakes world of farming and ranching.
While Season 1 spent time introducing audiences to the McBees and their daily lives, this next season is set to kick things up a notch, according to its logline.
“The stakes couldn’t be higher as eldest brother Steven Jr. has been left in charge of the McBee family farm and the race is on during harvest season to save it from being foreclosed,” the synopsis reads. “With Steven’s relationship with Calah on the rocks, Jesse’s anxiety around marrying Alli and Cole buckling under the pressure of becoming a father with pregnant girlfriend Kacie, these young men find themselves attempting to salvage their relationships and save the farm at the same time. When an FBI investigation threatens to take down their business, their mother, Kristi, has to step in to keep the family from falling apart.”
During a first look at the upcoming season, fans were offered even more insight into what comes next, as one clip shows Alli tearfully discussing how she and Jesse
are at “different place[s]” in their lives, before another shows the brothers suggesting Jesse arrange for a prenup. Another teaser suggests that Cole’s relationship with pregnant girlfriend Kacie is on the rocks, as Cole’s drinking becomes problematic.
Finally, Bravo reports that “makeups and breakups may be in store for Steven Jr. and Calah, too, amid reports that she called the brothers ‘hillbilly f—-s.’”
Regardless, Steven Jr.’s dedication to the ranch remains unwavering, as the cowboy proudly states that his “loyalty lies with my family and on this farm and ranch,” during Season 2’s first look. “I would defend that until the day I die,” he claims.
From executive producers Jeff Jenkins (“The Simple Life”), Melissa Bidwell (“Keeping Up with the Kardashians”) and Brandon Beck (“Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake”), “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” premieres its second season Monday, June 30, on Bravo and Peacock.
