While much of rural iowa is in a decline, Osceola and Clarke County have managed to continue a growth pattern that began in 1970. Not co-incidentally, the Development Corporation was formed in 1969 for the purpose of attracting and retaining jobs. The ground work has been steadily put in place over the last 45 years and we continue to reap the rewards of those early investments.
