Well-wishers outside of the Chili Pepper cafe in Oregon wave and celebrate as a parade for Harley Krueger makes its way through the downtown Sunday, Nov. 14. Battling non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the 5-year-old had a wish for a swingset complete with a playhouse and spiral slide. That’s when Make-A-Wish Illinois stepped up and whisked the young lady off to her grandmother’s house in a stretch limousine where her new playset was unveiled. Community members were encouraged to line the streets to herald Harley to her wish. A couple of dozen motorcycle riders escorted Harley and her stretch limo through Oregon to her grandmother’s home in Nachusa.
