Jose Santiago Melecio, 32, of Rockford, was arrested for no valid license after a traffic stop on Interstate 39 mile marker 99 at around 2:13 p.m. for speeding and window tint. Santiago Melecio was released on an I-Bond and given a future court date.

Corvell D. Davis, 38, of Rockford, was arrested for driving while license revoked after a traffic stop on Interstate 39 mile marker 101 at around 3:46 p.m. Davis also was cited for Scott’s Law violation and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Davis was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Sept. 30

Jeremy Simmons, 36, of Creston, was arrested for driving while license revoked, suspended registration and no insurance after a traffic stop in the 5000 block of South Woodlawn Road at around 11 a.m. Simmons’ vehicle was towed from the scene. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Rex Mcmanaway Jr., 20, of Davis Junction, was arrested for no valid driver’s license after a traffic stop in the 100 block of Harvest Glenn Drive in Davis Junction at around 9 p.m. Mcmanaway also was cited for a loud exhaust/muffler. Mcmanaway was released from the scene on an I-Bond and given a future court date.

Oct. 1

Alex B. Schremser, 19, of Belvidere, was arrested for driving while license suspended with BAIID and driving while license suspended after a traffic stop in the 8000 block of west Illinois Route 64 at 12:32 a.m. Schremser also was cited for speeding. Additionally, Haley I. Harbison, 19, of Belvidere; Alissa M. Porter, 20, of Belvidere; and Jacob S. Witkus, 19, of Poplar Grove, each were arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Schremser was transported to the Ogle County Jail pending a court appearance. Harbison, Porter and Witkus were released on I-Bonds.

Cody M. Sarantakos, 29, of Mt. Morris, was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop in the 6000 block of North Mt. Morris Road at 2:42 p.m. Sarantakos also was cited for suspended vehicle registration, no vehicle insurance and improper cannabis container. Sarantakos was released from the scene on an I-Bond and given a future court date.

Oct. 2

Victor M. Solis, 27, of Carol Stream, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 15000 block of east Illinois Route 64 at around 12:50 a.m. for a stop sign violation. Solis also was cited for disobeying a stop sign. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Sierra Sprague, 23, of Loves Park, was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in the 7000 block of north Illinois Route 2 at 8:58 p.m. for a speeding violation. She also was cited for speeding 26-34 mph over the speed limit, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol. Sprague was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Oct. 3

John Vaultonburg, of Forreston, was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop in the 13000 block of west Illinois Routes 72 and 26 at around 7:58 p.m. Vaultonburg also was cited for an equipment violation. Vaultonburg was released on a $2,500 I-Bond and given a future court date.

Scott D. Spencer, 18, of Polo, was cited at 8:17 p.m. for speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph speed zone.

Spencer was issued an I-Bond.

Sept. 29

Myla Luster, 25, of Rockford, was cited at 7:23 p.m. for speeding 42 mph in a 30 mph speed zone.

Luster was released on an I-Bond.
