Duck Pond Recreation Area

Wild Duck Rd., Fontana

Duck Pond Recreation Area is located on Wild Duck Road, off Highway 67. The park contains numerous hiking trails, as well as softball, baseball and soccer fields and a Frisbee golf course. The Duck Pond Pavilion with bathroom facilities and a concession stand is open during scheduled sports events and available to rent for special events.

Edgewater Park

Geneva St., Williams Bay

Edgewater Park is located in the town of Williams Bay along the Geneva Lake Shoreline. The park features playground equipment and a shelter with public restrooms. Grilling is permitted. The park is adjacent to the Williams Bay Beach.

Fontana Beach

Fontana Blvd., Fontana

Fontana Fen

State Rd 67 & Dewey, Fontana

Take one of three annotated walks at this 10-acre conservation area, home to the calcareous fen. This rare type of wetland prairie has an internal ground water system that supports only a few specialized plants. The fen is located off Highway 67 next to St.Benedict Catholic Church. The parking area is located at the corner of Main Street and Dewey Avenue. The area is open daily, year round with no admission fees.

CHILDREN’S FISHING PARK

159 Elkhorn Rd, Williams Bay

This five-acre park features fishing areas for children, a butterfly garden, worm digging areas, nature trails and a natural playground. Enjoy storytelling and other events and activities. Located south of the Kishwauketoe Conservancy entrance in Williams Bay.

Hildebrand Nature Conservancy

480 Mill St, Fontana

A nature trail leads pedestrians through the natural conservation area, along the Van Slyke Creek, from the Mill Street entrance to the Mill House Pavilion at the West Main Street entrance.

Enjoy the rolling creeks and calm ponds, or marvel a lush vegetation with fun names such as Wild Geranium, Angelica, Tall Meadow Rue, Jack-inthe-Pulpit, and May Apple. Stroll along a boardwalk that hovers above a wetland. Explore the oak woods, deciduous forest, and vast prairie. Walk, run or simply meander through the property that spans 231 acres, and reinvent yourself in nature. Uncover the unexpected on one of the many trails taking you through various areas of mindfully planted species of sedges, grasses, and hardwood trees. Explore this 231 acre parcel and discover its wonderful diversity.

There are wetlands at the South end across from the beach as well as another in the northeast section. Over 4 miles of trails are laid out to bring people closer to the various communities on the property.

PIONEER PARK

Lake Ave, Fontana

Pioneer Park is located on Lake Street across the street from the village boat launch site. The park features an unobstructed view of Geneva Lake and grilling is permitted.

REID PARK

268 Reid St, Fontana

Reid Park is located off Fontana Boulevard and Third Avenue. The park features the Little Foot Playgound, a small softball diamond, picnic tables and a lake front gazebo.
