Ladd is a small village in North Central Illinois that has shown amazing growth this year. We welcome to Ladd, residents of our newly-completed Ladd Senior Village. This 40-unit facility offers both one bedroom and two-bedroom homes to anyone 55 years and older who qualify, based upon income. It is visible from Route 89 and located west of Casey’s. Coming to the Village this Spring is The Stalk Market –a plant and home décor shoppe, with owners Heidi Templeton and Alexa Doll repurposing Torri’s. Further up the street – across from Rip’s – Jane Hunter is remodeling the Chicken City property and Ladd will once again boast a home town Coffee Shop. (Watch social media for dates and times!)

An Economic Development Group, consisting of Village residents, is diligently looking to bring business to Ladd. They have been going to neighboring businesses and asking them to consider a second location – in Ladd! We have perfect storefronts just waiting to be filled.

We are so thankful for all of our Ladd businesses Digifarms, Silver Creek Farms, and Tee Group Films just to name a few. We would love to invite you to stop by Rip’s, Softails, and/or Dick’s for lunch or dinner. Want to cook your own chicken? G&G Poultry has the area’s freshest selection.

Bowl at Ladd Lanes. Have your car fixed at A&B Garage. Get a bargain on used appliances at Andana Appliances! Have your mower fixed at Doctor Phil’s. If you need a new one, stop and see Jared at Ladd Farm Mart.

Gary Marini (Ladd Upholstery) has brought hundreds of people to Ladd with his skillful upholstering talents. Ladd’s Chad Vaini & Rich Kenney will construct and/ or remodel your home and Thrasher Electric is who you should call with your electrical needs.

Pick up a book at the Ladd Library. Get a haircut at Deb Bickett’s Special Effects salon and/or schedule a massage at IV Therapeutic Massage. Be sure to grab some gas at Casey’s – love those new pumps! Our fire department has the most dedicated volunteers and North Central Bank has both wonderful employees and . . . rates!

Ladd is well-known for its special events! Monday Farmer’s Market in the park will begin June 6th – with the addition of a weekly food truck! The excitement builds with our Convoy Against Cancer Big Truck Show returning July 16. Did we mention Music in the Park?
