For the second year in a row, the Rockford Bell Credit Union in conjunction with the Village of Mt. Morris Economic Development Corp. sponsored the prize money for the contest and winners. The most uniquely-decorated tree winner was to the Mt. Morris Church of the Brethren with Pat Miller receiving the $100 prize for the church. The most traditionally-decorated tree went to Amanda Wolfe of Mt. Morris for the second $100 prize. The best overall tree winner was the Mt. Morris Senior Center with the center’s director Melissa Nicholson receiving the $100 prize for the center. The event was sponsored by John Hanson, CEO of the Rockford Bell Credit Union.
