On Nov. 3 at approximately 5:17 p.m., police were notified of criminal damage done to the bathroom and some play equipment. Following a thorough investigation, one 13-year-old female of Oregon, one 12-year-old female of Mt. Morris, and one 13-year-old of Mt. Morris, were taken into limited custody for the offense of criminal damage to property. At approximately 3 p.m., deputies along with Oregon Fire/EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pines Road and Angus Road.

After conducting an investigation it was learned John Hawkins, 76, of Oregon, was on his motorcycle when a Subaru traveling in front of him slowed down to avoid an animal in the roadway. Attorney’s Office for review.

Matthew D. Thompson, 36, of Rockford, was arrested at 4 a.m. on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for battery. Thompson was transported to the Ogle County Jail.

Hawkins was transported to Javon Bea Hospital where he was treated for

non life-threatening injuries. merely accusations and the defendant is

presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
