Leti Anselme – Village of Channahon
Leti Anselme worked for the Village of Channahon for over 26 years. She came from the Summit area and considers Channahon her home. She is grateful for the honor of being chosen to be one of the Grand Marshals for the 2026 parade. She started at the front office at the old building, which is now the Three Rivers Cafe, as the Office Assistant, in November of 1999. She helped the residents at the front counter and helped the Development Department with all the growth that the community was experiencing and then the construction of the new office. Then she became the Deputy Village Clerk to help the Village Clerk. She was then promoted to the Executive Assistant, which assisted the Village President, the Village Board and the Village Administrator. She is truly grateful to have worked with the Village Board, old and new, along with her co-workers. She feels blessed with the public to which she has served throughout the years. She is also a volunteer with Pink Heals and looks forward to helping them more, when she’s not traveling. She is looking forward to adventures with her husband and spending more time with family and friends.
Maggie Churchill – Village of Channahon
Maggie Churchill began career with the Village of Channahon as a Utility Billing Clerk and worked her way to the Finance Department as an Accountant. She feels fortunate to have served this community for the past 19 years.
