Kate Winslet and Timothy Spall on the set of “Goodbye June”
Kate Winslet (“Titanic,” 1997) makes her directorial debut with “Goodbye June,” streaming Wednesday, Dec. 24, on Netflix. Also premiering in select theaters as of Dec. 12, the holiday film is written by Winslet’s son, Joe Anders (“1917,” 2019), in his first screenwriting role. Helen Mirren (“The Queen,” 2006) stars as the titular matriarch whose poor health leads her to orchestrate her decline on her own terms.
