Hockey so close you can smell it. The Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva is home to the United States Hockey League team and its family-friendly games featuring Rusty, a loveable mascot, contests, and awesome, fastpaced hockey. As of 2024, 58 Steel alumni have been drafted by NHL teams since 2000 and more than 300 Steel players have gone on to play NCAA Division I hockey. The Tier 1 junior hockey league includes players ages 16-20 from across the country who live with local families. The team has truly made a home in the Fox Valley, with a following of fans and major accomplishments.
The Chicago Steel have great family promotions, from game theme nights to post-game skates, as well as family ticket packages. It’s a great night out to catch some hockey up close and cheer on the team.
