East claims 2nd win over North / 4 Geneva Park District to hold auditions GENEVA – The Geneva Park District is hosting auditions for its adult production of “Steel Magnolias” at Playhouse 38. Adults, ages 18 and older, are invited to audition from 6 to 9 p.m. today. Written by Robert Harling, this story of friendship and trust presents the story of six different southern women who reveal their endless support for one another. Those who wish to audition must prepare a one- to two-minute monologue. Auditionees also may be asked to read from the script. Once cast, a $20 script fee and completed registration form is required. Performances are scheduled for Feb. 13 to 15, and $15 tickets will be available for purchase at Sunset Community Center, 710 Western Ave., Geneva.
