The Jasper County Sheriff is seeking qualified applicants to fill newly created positions for Part-Time Paramedics. These positions will work projected shifts of 12-hours, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, scheduled pay will be $19.00 to $22.00 per hour based on selected candidate’s qualifications and experiences.
Qualified candidates must currently be an Iowa Certified Paramedic with a minimum of one year of experience, current CPR certified required, able to work independently under stressful situations with multiple agencies in Jasper County, integrate with them as the lead provider or in a support role, ability to communicate and work effectively with all public safety agencies during a medical related situation with an emphasis on fostering teamwork and delivering quality patient care, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification preferred, valid Iowa driver’s license required with good driving record.
