Roger recently relocated to Newton to become the personal assistant to broker, Caren Clevenger of Heartland Iowa Realty. Roger has background in marketing and office management and was very active in local Chamber events and community functions at his previous employment and hopes to resume that again. He is the youngest of 8 siblings, one of whom currently resides in Newton as a school teacher, Doug Smith. Roger enjoys his spare time working in the yard, repurposing furniture and most of all spending time with his wife of 34 years. They have one son who is a United States Marine and a rescue dog named Gracie Lou. They are currently still unpacking from the relocation project and are both anxious to get settled into the community.
