The City of Newton, Iowa is accepting applications for the position of entry level (non-certified) and lateral (Iowa certified) Police Officer. The Newton Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency consisting of 27 sworn and 5 non-sworn employees and includes a school resource officer, narcotics detective, general crimes detective, K9 unit, SWAT team and motorcycle unit.
