Ah, the joy of keeping a flock of chickens in one’s backyard. They’re cute as they peck for chicken feed in their wire enclosures warmed by the summer sun. But when the winter arrives, what do we do with the birdies? Do they move to the heated garage which is part of our first floor? Or better yet, can we build an insulated coop with a heating system? What kind of officials do we have in Berwyn that would allow parking tickets to be given in the middle of a snowstorm when there is a handicap sign posted by someone’s home and they have a handicap sign inside their vehicle. To me, that is just obscene. It would be nice if they could take some privilege with people in need and find their revenue other places.
