The Gemini Giant, the 438-pound fiberglass giant that can be seen standing guard over Wilmington's The Launching Pad Restaurant, is one of the most iconic sights along Route 66. Beloved for its unique space-age theme and quirky color palette, the Gemini Giant is one of the thousands of goliath “Muffler Man” statues made by the International Fiberglass company. Today, fewer than 100 remain across the country. Don’t miss a chance to see this lovingly-restored The First Hundred Miles photo-op.
