CARVE OUT SOME FUN! Sarah Ford for Shaw Media
Timber Lane Christmas Tree Farm is well-known for their holiday evergreens, but new this year was an abundance of pumpkins ready for pick-up. Co-owner Judy Holesinger said her son Bill decided to plant a pumpkin patch this year and it did better than expected. Pumpkins, corn shocks, and straw bales for festive fall decorating are available at the farm at 7250 Garden Plain Rd. in Fulton. Their country store featuring locally made items and seasonal décor is open through Nov. 13 before closing down in preparation for the holiday season. Hours for the shop and pumpkin-picking in the barn are 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
