CANDY GALORE Sarah Ford for Shaw Media

After the blare of the fire truck siren, dozens of kids took off to pick up as much candy as their bags could hold during the Fulton Fire Department Sparkettes’ annual egg hunt on Saturday, April 16, at School Park in Fulton. The Sparkettes decided to “go green” and forgo plastic eggs this year, instead scattering thousands of pieces of candy throughout the park. There were different age groups for the candy hunters, and the kids cleaned it all up in about 10 minutes.
