Helm Group is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician.

This position will support our aggregate production operations in multiple quarry locations throughout northwest Illinois. Primary responsibilities include sampling and testing of aggregates to determine gradation and physical characteristics for quality control purposes. State (IDOT) certifications for “Aggregate Technician” preferred. Ability to obtain IDOT certifications is required. Minimum of 2 years experience in quality control with aggregates, soils or construction is preferred. Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. Must display knowledge and awareness of construction and mining site safety. Proficiency with computers and MS Office. Physical demands while performing duties of this job require occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
