The Hillsdale Storage team takes to the rope during the Tug Fest tug-of-war across the Mississippi River on Saturday, August 14 in Port Byron. Members of the team pictured, left to right, are Kristin and her daughter Adde Snowden of Hillsdale, Samantha Shook of East Moline, and Cassie Steffen of Hillsdale. The women’s team was victorious over LeClaire’s First Central State Bank team. The final score for the tug-of-war was Illinois 8 to Iowa’s 3. See page 3.
