SINGIN’ THE BLUES Sarah Ford for Shaw Media

Quad Cities musicians Brooklyn Ed, Spyder Bill, Rob Dahms and Buffalo Bob perform in the gazebo in downtown Port Byron during the seventh annual Baby Blues Fest on Saturday, June 25. Despite a slight delay after the morning rain, the afternoon was perfect for live music along the Mississippi River, with additional performances by Sunflower Slim, My Friends and Me, Donna Herula Duo and the Avey Grouws Band, plus food and drink specials and dancing in the street.
