NOTICE OF GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the usual Polling Places in the various precincts in the County of DeKalb and State of Illinois, a General Primary Election will be held for the purpose of voting for the following offices and deciding local propositions or referenda. TO BE NOMINATED: President of the United States Representative in Congress (11th, 14th, 16th Congressional Districts) State Senator (37th Legislative District) Representative in the General Assembly (70th, 74th, 75th, 76th, 89th Representative Districts) Circuit Clerk State’s Attorney Coroner County Board Members – Districts 1 thru 12, One (1) from each District County Board Members – Districts 1 & 11, Unexpired 2-year terms TO BE ELECTED: Delegates and Alternate Delegates Precinct Committeepersons LOCAL PROPOSITIONS AND/OR REFERENDA WILL BE HELD IN THE FOLLOWING JURISDICTIONS: PROPOSITION TO ISSUE $195,000,000 SCHOOL BUILDING BONDS – C.U.S.D. 301 Shall the Board of Education of Central Community Unit School District Number 301, Kane and DeKalb Counties, Illinois, build and equip a new high school building, including construction of career technical education labs, fine arts spaces, a college/career center, special education classrooms, collaborative spaces and secured entryways and installation of emergency response systems therein, build and equip an athletic stadium, a field house and athletic fields on the new high school site, improve said site and issue its bonds to the amount of $195,000,000 for the purpose of paying the costs thereof?
