The horse knows the way ... … to the Hometown Holiday Princeton Annual Christmas Walk, with activities scheduled for Friday through Sunday, Nov. 17-19. Carriage rides will be part of the fun, along with trolley rides. And there’s more, including the lighting of the Christmas Tree at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Darius Miller Park; the Prairie Arts Center MiniTree Reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday; the fourth annual Princeton Chamber of Commerce Candy Cane Hunt at 7 p.m. Friday at Soldiers and Sailors Park; and the ninth Christkindl Market from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Open Prairie United Church of Christ. Children may visit Santa from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Prouty Building. Music and hot chocolate will also be available at various venues.
