Keeping boys and ghouls safe at Halloween As children head out this Halloween to stock up on their candy stash and make memories with their friends, we all need to do our part to ensure their safety. Motorists who are traveling the roads during trickor-treat hours need to stay on high alert to watch out for any children who might forget basic safety rules when they are in pursuit of candy. Drive slowly and stay on the lookout because many kids’ costumes are dark and hard to spot. Parents should do their part too. They should make sure their children are visible before they leave the house. Glow sticks around the neck or glow bracelets are a great way to make sure your child is seen by motorists.
