Can you dig it? Putnam County High School’s Taylor Kreiser sets the ball during a game Thursday, Sept. 17, in Granville. Bureau and Putnam counties are known for their love of athletics. Right now, volleyball is in full swing around Bureau and Putnam counties, and as always, the two counties have really talented players who will represent the area well. Those who would like to watch their local team in action should make every effort to make it to a game and support their team. The postseason begins at the end of October. Putnam County is in the Tri-County Conference, while St. Bede, Hall, Bureau Valley and Princeton are in the Three Rivers Conference. IVS photo/Ryan Friel
