Fair royalty The 2016 Bureau County Fair Queens will relinquish their titles this Sunday, Aug. 6, at Bureau Valley High School in Manlius. The 2017 Bureau County Fair Queen pageant begins in the Bureau Valley High School Auditorium at 4 p.m., followed by the Junior Miss and Miss pageants, scheduled to start at approximately 5:30 p.m. For several weeks, 2017 contestants have attended practice sessions, as they get ready for this year’s pageant. A variety of titles will be awarded, and the winners of the Little Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Bureau County Fair Queen pageants will represent the county at the upcoming Bureau County Fair, scheduled from Aug. 23-27 at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton.
