Vol. 10 No. 26

Bleed for those in need David Boylan of Princeton donated a pint of his blood during a recent Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center’s blood drive, which was hosted by the Princeton Public Library. While blood donations are always in high demand during the holiday season, blood centers across the nation are hoping people will continue to donate regularly throughout the new year. People can donate a pint of whole blood every eight weeks, or approximately six times a year. There are some weight requirements as well as health issues, which could prohibit you from donating blood, but all blood collection drives will be able to advise you if you are eligible to donate.
