WHERE TO LEARN

Q

uality education opportunities are the backbone of a community.

Community Unit School District 300 (D300) is one of the largest school districts in the state, comprising 14 communities including Lake in the Hills and Algonquin. D300 includes 27 schools with nearly 21,000 students who range from pre-school to 12th grade.

More than 75 teachers in D300 have received the prestigious National Board Certification. The District offers dual language courses for English and Spanish speakers, along with a diverse selection of Advance Placement courses. It also boasts an award-winning music program and was recently named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants.
