A man stands on a wave board in the wake of a power boat on the Rock River north of Oregon on Sunday. Temperatures in the 90s and sunny skies prompted many to take to the river. The Oregon Fire Department responded to two incidents last week where boaters had to be rescued from the river after their vessels capsized. Story on page 2.
