Three rivers FesTival and The CommuniTY Since 1989, over $1.2 Million Dollars has been generated for the community programs and services in the Channahon area. Festival proceeds annually benefit the programs and activities of the Channahon Baseball League, Chanooka Braves Youth Football, and the Channahon Lions Club.

In addition, our Commuinty Assistance Program grants assistance to local Channahon based community servive groups and projects.

This year, we honor former Festival Committee Co-Chair, Fred Church, who retired from the Committee at the end of last year’s festival.

Fred got involved with the festival when it all began in 1989, while he was a member of the Channahon Fire Department and a Board member of Channahon Baseball.

Throughout his 32 years as Festival Co-Chair and Committee member, Fred really enjoyed being involved with planning the festival and working with other Committee members and said he has so many fond memories.

Fred resides in Morris with his wife, Peggy. They have three children and nine grandchildren.

Fred enjoys selenography and always loves to share it with everyone!
