The FOM-D028 FODC Fiber Optic Dome Closure is engineered for overhead, pole-mounted, wall-mounted, and underground applications. Featuring a threaded mechanical seal, it ensures excellent sealing performance and easy installation. With 5 cable ports (4 small & 1 large) supporting F7~F22 cables, this high-strength engineering plastic enclosure offers anti-aging, corrosion resistance, and a long service life. Certified to YD 814.1-2004 standards, it’s ideal for secure and efficient optical transmission.

Application

A member of dome closure, used for the products' straight through connection in the optical transmission process, provides protection for the joint connection. With four small round ports and one large round port, it adopts threaded mechanical seal, can be used for aerial, pole- mounting, wall-mounting and underground application. It is excellent in sealing performance, easy for installation, and has wide application.

Feature

- All performance indicators meet the requirements of the national YD 814.1-2004 closure standard;

- Three-in and three-out cable ports, there are 5 round cable holes (4 small & 1 large), which suit for the access of F7~F22 cables;

- The outer box body is made of high-strength engineering plastics, It has features of light weight, high mechanical strength, anti aging, strong corrosion resistance, lightning resistance, and long service life.

- Stacked structure splice tray and independent insulation grounding device make it flexible, convenient and safe for the optical fiber core configuration, expansion and the cable grounding.

- The splice tray is provided with a dedicated slot for optical splitter, which is used to fix two 1:8 PLC optical splitter.
