Matrix Transcoder answers all market requirements and it is a suitable solution for Mobile TV, Internet TV, IPTV, OTT and broadcast live video services. It is a real-time multi-channel/format transcoder, which can support 30*SD or 15*720p or 6*FullHD(per Blade), Up to 4 Blades, 120 streams Simultaneously. With the support for various encapsulation formats base on UDP, RTP/RTSP, Pull/Push HTTP, RTMP, HLS protocols, it converts HD/SD streams to any H.264 or MPEG-2 format, bitrate and resolution. The product can be configured to transcode up to 30 PIDs of H.264 video in a 1RU form factor, along with up to two audio PIDs per video PID. The Matrix-Ⅳ software application runs on powerful hardware, representing the highest density and lowest bitrate available with the highest video quality on a carrier grade 2-RU server platform. It provides the highest bandwidth efficiency on the market, and the best video quality to end users. Matrix is a very powerful multi-channel transcoder designed for large scale enterprise level deployment. Depending on the configuration Of Cable TV headend platform, it forwards selected programs via IP datacasting; PAT, PMT, video PID, audio PID(s) and PCR PID are transmitted. Matrix selects all required PIDs and multiplexes the demultiplexed transport stream packets into IP packets. It is suitable for the existing front-end MPEG-IP platform, Cable, TV, operator/Owner to develop new IPTV/OTT market business. With this solution, it is easier to transmit the video to more users with less investment.
