Why Hire A Realtor?

We often hear a statement such as “I thought all real estate brokers were Realtors”.

This is a misconception held by many. A Realtor ® is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, as well as a member of their state and local Association of Realtors®. One of the most professional things a licensed real estate broker can do is to associate themselves with the Realtor® organization.

As Realtors®, we have the opportunity to be the most educated and knowledgeable professionals in the industry. Realtors® have weekly legal updates, professional updates, technology updates and many more educational opportunities to enhance their ability to serve their clients well.

Realtors® perform their business based upon a Code of Ethics that has survived and upheld the industry for over 100 years. This Code of Ethics is the foundational premise of a Realtor’s business and provides for an ethical transaction for both buyers and sellers.

If you are considering hiring a real estate professional, we would highly recommend that the first question that you ask is “Are you a Realtor®?”
