ENVIRONTALLY FRIENDLY
Keep Omaha Beautiful fosters environmental and community stewardship through education, service, and advocacy.
Litter Cleanups - Pick up litter in local neighborhoods and public areas throughout Omaha.
Scatter Joy Acres is a 15-acre urban agricultural rescue, therapy, and educational ranch.
Ranch Hand - Clean large animal and small animal shelter housing barns.
Mosaic is a whole-person healthcare organization reaching across 12 states and providing supports to nearly 5,000 people.
Spring Gardening - Plant vegetables and flowers at some of the Intermediate Care Facilities.
The Blue Bucket Project provides equipment, resources and opportunities for reducing litter in our communities.
Flash Trash Mob – Pick up trash for 60 minutes.
Friends of the Bohemian Cemetery beautifies and helps to preserve the cemetery grounds for future generations.

Omaha Sports Commission works closely with area businesses and community leaders to help recruit and promote amateur sporting events.
Event Help – Work behind the scenes to make the sporting events great.
Omaha Theater Company (The Rose) enriches the lives of children and families through live theater and arts education.
Public Show Volunteers - Greet patrons as they arrive, open doors, scan tickets, assist at Will Call, seat guests, and more.
Omaha Jitterbugs is an all-ages educational and social swing dance program building community; improving mental and physical health; teaching social skills; and enabling personal discovery, laughter, and self-expression.
JIVE Volunteer – Assist setting up for the dance, work the front desk, and clean up afterward.

CASA for Douglas County trains, inspires, and empowers Volunteer Advocates to improve the lives of children that have been abused and neglected.
Project Hope Pack Product Drives – Collect necessity items to fill backpacks for children in crisis or transition situations.
Metropolitan Science and Engineering Fair provides a venue for grade 6-12 students to showcase their own investigations of STEM concepts.
Research Mentor - Assist a teacher and small groups of students to guide them through the research process to prepare for presenting their findings.
NorthStar Foundation changes the lives of young men through programming that supports, challenges, inspires and instills a life rooted in education, selfdiscipline and service to the community.

The Salvation Army serves as a beacon of help and hope, providing food, housing, youth development, material assistance, behavioral health support, older adult services, anti-human trafficking support and emergency disaster services.

Restoring Dignity is bringing lasting change and hope to local refugees.
Packing Kits – Help pack supplies for educators to take to refugee families to teach home health and cleaning, fire safety, and homeowners’ maintenance classes.
Together serves those experiencing food insecurity, poverty, and homelessness in our community.
Choice Pantry – Organize and stock shelves and assist people to their vehicles with their items.
Kountze Commons Community Outreach Center was created to serve our city’s most vulnerable members with complex health and life issues.
Food Pantry - Help with carts, loading/unloading, sorting, and cleaning as well as welcoming guests.
Catholic Charities exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, to minister works of mercy and promote the dignity of all people.
Pantry Helpers – Assist shoppers at the St. Teresa of Calcutta Campus.
NeighborGood provides groceries, meat, paper products, diapers, personal hygiene products and pet food to people who live in the greater Sarpy County and Ralston communities.

North Omaha Community Partnership focuses on the foundation of family through mental/ behavioral health awareness, crisis assistance, youth services, conflict resolution, crime prevention and community engagement.
Pantry Volunteer - Assist with pantry and household supplies distribution.
Food Bank for the Heartland distributes food through more than 500 Network Partners to ensure consistent access to nutritious food in 93 counties across Nebraska and western Iowa.
Pack, Sort and Stock – Help pack and/or sort donated food which is distributed to more than 550 partners.
Heartland Hope Mission provides clients with a week's worth of food, along with clothing, diapers, job resources and community referrals to empower them to make positive changes in their lives.
Saturday Morning Pantry - Assist staff by distributing food and clothing to families in need.
SERVING MEALS
Siena Francis House welcomes and empowers those experiencing homelessness to navigate their path to housing.
Serve a Meal - Help prepare the dining room, set tables with needed items, and assist our kitchen staff in serving over 300 meals.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha is a direct-aid organization, supporting poor and struggling families and individuals in our Omaha community, including victims of natural disasters.
Sack Lunch Program - Make up to 300 sack lunches for neighbors experiencing homelessness and nearby low-income, "senior-living" apartments.
Stephen Center partners with the community, individuals and families to overcome homelessness, addiction and mental health challenges.
Kitchen Assistant – Help with the preparation of meals, setting up the service area and serving the clients.
