A Better System For You Increasing Our Capacity...To Serve You Better We are improving our computer systems to provide a new and improved banking experience for our members.

Message from the President Dear members, The credit union is poised to embark on a new chapter in our long history with a complete upgrade of our information systems including our core computer, bill payer, home and mobile banking products. The journey to this point has been a long and laborious process. It has involved countless hours investigating and comparing various computer systems in order to find the best partner for Sharefax.

The search committee focused on systems that would meet our members’ needs now & into the future and targeted core vendors offering significant improvements from our current system, which is over 11 years old. This new core system will provide improved connectivity and seamless movement between various channels. This type of functionality was the key in our decision.

Some of the improvements to be expected: • Fully integrated bill payment with online & mobile banking • Online member enrollment • Electronic signatures on loan & membership documents • Person to person payments • Business account analytics • Longer allowed activity time in home banking These improvements will make a huge difference in your ability to interact business with the credit union. However, a change of this magnitude is never an easy transition. Sharefax is making every attempt to educate our members on what to expect and the new processes involved in accessing their accounts.

There will be some inconvenience to our members, which cannot be avoided, such as requiring members to reenroll in mobile & home banking and closing our offices for the entire day on Saturday, July 1st. Hopefully, these inconveniences will be minor and the benefits to our members will be quickly apparent.

All of these changes are necessary in order to offer cutting edge technology to our members. This is our commitment to you and we will continue to strive to meet all of your financial needs.

Closed Saturday July 1st Sharefax Credit Union is excited to announce that we will be upgrading our computer operating system. We’ll be making the transition over the weekend of July 1, 2017. Because this is no little project, all locations will be closed that Saturday, July 1st. We’ll reopen for business as usual on Monday July 3rd – only better!

What you should know…

Closing dates: Saturday, July 1st What will be available during that time?

-Take note of when your loan payment is due. If it’s due during conversion weekend, plan to make your payment prior to Friday, June 30th. Utilize Night Depositories, at select locations, to drop off deposits or loan payments.

-Complete all in-branch or Call Center transactions prior to close of business; we’ll be closed on Saturday, July 1st.

New STAR System Welcome to Sharefax Credit Union’s new STAR system Our upgraded bank-by-phone system makes taking care of your credit union business faster, easier and safer.

Sharefax Credit Union’s bank by phone STAR System can be used from any touch-tone phone. The STAR System allows members to review account or loan balances, access account history, request a withdrawal and/or loan advance, transfer money to another account or member, request a loan payoff and so much more.
