Hosting a party or fundraising event is a great way to bring people together for some fun all while giving back to your community. Donation drives are also a great way to give the gift of cleanliness and are a great alternative to an event.
Project Outpour provides mobile showers and hygiene services to our neighbors in need. We operate our shower trailer at six locations around Charlotte every week.
Volunteer opportunities nclude packing and sorting donated produce as well as at off-site events. Off-site events include Mobile Food Pantries where you can hand out food to families in need and special events.
Second Harvest Food Bank Provides a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. We provide training, technical assistance and hunger education to our partner agencies.
