Page 1

Beginning of the Year: Love Them Harder. Inspired by John Wooden, this approach is simple but powerful: The students who are hardest to reach often need us to work harder at reaching them. The more challenging the student, the more intentional you have to be. Put in the extra effort to connect and show them you care. Over time, that effort builds trust and sets the tone for a more positive school year. Teri Lund, SHAPE America Physical Best Trainer

Embed Culturally Relevant Instructional Practices Daily. Design learning experiences that incorporate student voice, offer meaningful choices, and reflect diverse cultural movement forms. Avoid one-size-fits-all approaches and validate multiple ways for students to engage, learn, and demonstrate success. Victor Ramsey, SHAPE America Physical Best Trainer
