The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Sunrise Rotary Club held a helicopter charity golf ball drop in December at Hank Anderson III Community Park with proceeds benefitting TROSA and The ARCHway Institute. Members of all three organizations sold golf balls and the 12 people whose ball landed closest to the hole (after being dropped from the helicopter) won prizes with $6,000 going to both nonprofits.
