CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK PHOTOGRAPHY BY SAVANNAH SHANEY

Students at St. Thomas More Catholic School celebrated Catholic Schools Week in January by participating in acts of service, including bagging food for Meals on Wheels Chapel Hill-Carrboro, making cards for the SECU Family House at UNC Hospitals and The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill, and working in the school garden. Catholic Schools Week, an annual celebration of Catholic education in the U.S., focuses on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to the church, local communities and the country.
