Shannondell Residents Give Back To The Local Community This past spring, proud Delaware Valley parents, students, family and friends filled the Shannondell Performing Arts Theater as more than $27,000 in educational scholarships were awarded to 55 deserving local students. Part of lifelong learning, financial assistance and community outreach afforded by The Foundation at Shannondell, these annual scholarships are just one way that Shannondell residents, employees and their families give back to surrounding communities and neighbors in need. “I can tell you that all of the

residents who contribute to the Foundation are just as excited as the families and kids on the day we hand out scholarship awards,” says Janet, a long-time Shannondell resident. Her husband is quick to add, “It’s a great visual reminder of just how important and impactful it is for us, as a community, to come together and improve the lives of those who live and work around us.” Contributing to The Foundation is only one way that Shannondell residents have to give back.
