A publication of Shannondell at Valley Forge
Š 2015 Shannondell, Inc.
What’s new? The answer could be “you.” Not that residents need an excuse to try something new at Shannondell ... but, it is a new year ... 2015, the “Year of the Goat” according to the Chinese Zodiac. According to the same, your lucky numbers are 2 and 7 (Bridge and Poker groups take note). Back to trying something new. 2015 could be the year you a) swim a mile, b) learn about cryptology, c) master Bridge, d) become a fan of Zumba, e) carve a Ruffed Grouse (the state bird), or f) rekindle that acting bug. All of these accomplishments are not only possible, but also convenient thanks to the more than 50 clubs, groups and classes taking place on a daily basis at Shannondell. Need a little more inspiration? Attend one of the openings at The Shannondell Art Gallery, including Artists Among Us opening January 16. In the Shannondell Performing Arts Theater, there are abundant opportunities for inspiration, including Concertmaster David Kim performing January 11, the King of Prussia Players performing Brigadoon in March and a couple of Dueling Divas (Ruth Kaye and Maggie Worsdale) belting out Broadway tunes in April. As a Shannondell resident, the inspiration is all around you.
