SHANKLIN THEATRE Welcome to the Summer Season Brrrrrr……. Goodness me that was a bit chilly in March. One show was moved to the Summer due to bad weather on the mainland, Chicago Blues Brothers. The new date is now 30th June, so if you were unable to attend the March showing now is your chance. This is a very good show, don’t miss it. As usual during the Summer season Spotlight (IOW) Ltd are of course putting on their Summer show, Beyond the West End, this year right through to October, and the Island Savoyards also have a production in July. Scattered amongst these are some excellent offerings including Danny Baker, Chris Barber, Marty Wilde, Kast off Kinks, Jane McDonald, The Manfreds and Cannon and Ball to name but a few. A professional production of Seriously Dead is also in May, a musical comedy play not to be missed. The Panto, Sleeping Beauty is now on sale. We look forward to seeing you here are the Theatre soon.
