Welcome As we move into the second half of the summer, and without wishing it away, it’s time to welcome you to our Autumn / Winter brochure. On our diary listing we have repeated the August calendar , which has an addition with a comedy play, ‘The Games Afoot ‘ for 4 nights. We have a variety of shows to cover all tastes, with Jasper Carrott here for two nights at the start of September . Later that month three popular shows return, The Proms, The Manfreds , and The Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Band. There is also a big Las Vegas style Rat Pack show amongst other offerings. Leo Sayer and Lesley Garrett are here in October, as well as a second show by Russell Watson following his sell out success in May, as well as varied entertainment. November is great time for comedy shows, with Lee Nelson, Ed Byrne, Katherine Ryan , Milton Jones, and Jo Brand sprinkled amongst other great shows, including the fantastic Stylistics from the USA on their latest tour. The year ends with our usual professional pantomime, as well as seeing a welcome return of the extremely popular Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain, the Marines Band and Les McKeown’ s Bay City Rollers. So we look forward to seeing you during what should be an enjoyable period. SHANKLIN THEATRE PROSPECT ROAD, SHANKLIN ISLE OF WIGHT PO37 6AJ BOX OFFICE: 01983 868000 ADMIN: 01983 862739
