Our goal never changes, producing quality bulls and heifers that will continue to improve your herd no matter the size or type of operation, commercial or purebred.

Our bulls and heifers come from a great group of AI and herd sires that keep strong maternal traits in mind: S Whitlock 179, Bruin Breaking News 2201, MAR Innovation 251, VIN-MAR Johnny Cash 3513, SAV 10 Speed 3022, SSF Double Vision 14D, Remitall International 157D and Merit Arrow 6071. We continue to believe the best part of our sale is the proven experienced mother Brookmore cows that stand behind them. We understand that a purchase of a future herd bull is an important investment. We are confident in our group of bulls that they will fit into any program.

These heifers come from the top of the replacement pen.

Not only did our herd grow this year, but also so did our family. In June we welcomed our twin boys, William and Huxton.

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Brookside Angus Bull and Female Sale! 2018 kicked off the first sale for Derrick and Megan and was met with strong buyer acceptance. Most important 2018 marked the birth of the twins, William and Huxton and with that the next generation is born into the Agricultural world! The bull offering while not large in numbers boasts excellent quality and are quite an even group, credit to that can be directed back to the nucleus of the herd is built from the Brookmore herd! It’s been the intentions right from the start that the bull offering consist of quality and not quantity and that mark has certainly been achieved. Some exciting sire groups which boast strong EPD’s and lineage depending on what your needs are of your next herdsire(s). The development of the bulls takes place in a large area allowing lots of room for exercise keeping the bulls free moving and sound. The set of heifers on offer this year will make you drool, they are an extremely strong group of heifers from various sires and young productive cows. Study the cow families and the production that line represents there is a lot of history here. Presented right and ready to go out and breed when your season comes.

The cattle as stated before are like the people which equals hard working, attentive, good minded with an easy going disposition would describe either sector. TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque at par. No releases will be given until satisfactory settlement has been made. All monies are in Canadian Funds, other funds will be accepted at the current rate of exchange.

2. Bids: Every animal entering the ring will be sold to the highest bidder.

3. Disputes: In case of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer decision in such matters will be final.

4. Announcements: Any changes from information in the catalogue will be announced from the auction block; such changes will take precedence.

5. Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.

6. Certificate of Registration: Each animal in the sale will carry registration papers issued by the Canadian Angus Association. A certificate duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after full and total payment has been made.

7. Accidents: Every precaution will be exercised to protect the safety and comfort of those attending the sale. Neither the owners, auctioneer, or any sale staff assume any responsibility in this matter and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property.

8. Liability: All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk; sellers and/or sale management and/or any of the sales staff assume no liability.

9. Insurance: Livestock insurance and/or transit insurance will be available.

10. Export testing: In the case of animals purchased for export, the necessary customs health, and export certificates will be supplied and expenses will be at half cost. The other half of the cost will be the responsibility of the buyer. *GENERAL INFORMATION* Mail Bids: may be entrusted in complete confidence to any of the sale staff or representatives listed.
