OUTDOOR SPEECH MARATHON

The Outdoor Speech Marathon was a resounding success, bringing together members of Matale Toastmasters Club and the Hill Capital Toastmasters club for a fun-filled day of public speaking, activities, and good food. Held on the 22nd of January 2023 at the Matale Children's Park, the event started at 10am and continued till 12pm.
The event featured seven speeches and seven table topics, giving members the opportunity to hone their public speaking skills in front of a supportive audience Participants spoke on a variety of topics, ranging from personal experiences to social issues and beyond The speeches were well-received, with each speaker delivering insightful and engaging talks that captivated the audience.

In addition to the speeches, the event also included fun rides and activities for all to enjoy This provided the perfect opportunity for participants to unwind and bond over shared experiences The day ended with a delicious meal, which allowed participants to mingle and network with each other

The Matale Toastmasters Outdoor Speech Marathon was a testament to the power of public speaking to bring people together and foster personal growth. The event allowed members to challenge themselves, build confidence, and connect with likeminded individuals in a supportive and fun environment

Central Link Toastmasters Club
On the 12th of February 2023, the Matale Toastmasters Club and Central Link Toastmasters Club held a joint meeting with a carnival theme that brought together members of both clubs for a fun-filled day. The event started at 10am and was filled with exciting activities and speeches.


The President of Matale Toastmasters Club, Shamla Naleer, kicked off the meeting and handed it over to the Toastmaster of the Day (TMOD), Rifka, who conducted an exceptional meeting. She kept the energy level high throughout the meeting, engaging the attendees with her enthusiasm and humour

The Clown of the day, TM Kavindu, added color and enthusiasm throughout the meeting, creating a lively and fun-filled atmosphere.
The round-robin session conducted by TM Anuththara was filled with laughter and enjoyment The Table Topics Master conducted a laughter-filled Table Topics session that kept the audience engaged and entertained.
The meeting was adjourned by the President of Central Link Toastmasters Club, Linali, who thanked everyone for their participation and enthusiasm. The day was filled with lots of chatting and more food before moving on to the rest of the day's activities.
